She took the plunge!

Hi Friends!

Just wanted to share a quick update on my pal, Amanda's, recent fundraising and Polar Plunging adventure! Thanks to the generosity of so many of you, she managed to raise more than $1,100 for The Special Olympics of Michigan! AMAZING! If you donated and/or shared her story. THANK YOU! Your contribution makes such an incredible difference in the lives of these devoted athletes and their families! And you helped Amanda honor her lovely little Juliette. Some days I still find myself stunned by all the beauty in the world when I take a moment to look around.

Amanda shared this quote with her family and friends just after she finished this year's Plunge:

"All I ever wanted really, and continue to want out of life, is to give 100 percent to whatever I'm doing and to be committed to whatever I'm doing and then let the results speak for themselves. Also to never take myself or people for granted and always be thankful and grateful to the people who helped me. "

Here are a few photos to give you a visual of all the fun and craziness that ensued at this year's event.

Amanda and her brave friend, Mara, went dressed as Bride & Bridesmaid

They both took the title of the 2013 "Best Plunge"! Nice form Amanda!

The look speaks for itself! Victory was hers.

Thank you again, a million times over, to everyone who helped Amanda and the Special Olympics this year!
Amanda, we're all so very proud of you!
